The Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club endeavors to further the hobby of ham radio. The Club provides educational opportunities for new hams and those wishing to upgrade their skills in amateur radio. The Club sponsors an annual Hamfest and participates in the annual Field Day event.

There are also Club picnics and Christmas party as well as the camaraderie of the monthly Club meetings. Fox hunts have been organized and plans for more are in the works.

Swap Shop is held the second and last Saturday of every month. This event may be canceled due to local HAMFEST. Listen to the Southwest Florida Traffic Net on 146.685 at 1000 hours local time during the week for schedule changes.
